WTF. Posted the entry already and they gave me a fckiing error. Lemme try to recall After today, i'm convinced that SUPREME HEAVENLY FOOD can only be accessed by the rich. Went to "my humble house" at the esplanade today. The ambience of the restaurant was so beautifully done with dim lightted environment and other things. Its a perfect romantic place for couples imo =D. Lets just fast forward to the food part.

First thing on the table was some cold appetizer which was not on the list. It was a 7 course meal. So here's the meals:
Soft shell crab with bla bla bla dressing
Sharkfin soup
Lobster tail with bla bla bla dressing
Calamis(nt sure spelliNG!) juice
XO fish noodles
Codfish with bla bla dressing
purple rice coconut icecream with mango sauce or something.

See the list. . . focus on calamis juice. WTF! A small cup of juice is counted a "item" on the menu list. The cup is like the size of the small tea cup shown in the tv in those martial art show where they toast wine with it. The serving of all the food is also freaking little, like those italian style where they just give u a small piece of meat andd decorate with lots of sauce. My grandma was bitching abt the resturant since she came in. Complaining abt the dim light,little food,sucky food and wanting to go home asap. Relative told her off and told her tat its nt tat nice to complain since my rich auntie and uncle is giving a BIG treat. Of course opposite to what she said, the food was superb. One of the best i ever ate, especially the calamis juice,lobster tail,codfish,desert and softshell crab. Quality > Quantity. Well of course, everything good comes with a price tag. Guess the price after all the addition charges for 21 people(gst,service etc)?

IT COST A FREAKING APPROX OF 2K BUCKS.

Amazing price of money eh? Its the most expensive meal i ever eaten so far. 85++ per person, and include the gst,service charge u'll get ard 2k. Its sad but true, these HEAVENLY foods is almost unaccessible to a normal person :(. Better start working hard to eat good in the future =D
Oh, theeres even a dry ice thing in the end where they place the dry ice in a nicely decorated bowl or something for each table and they pour all the water down while serving us the desert. Veryyyy nice ambience!
ps: Got a girl and lots of $$? Come to my humble house and ur date will be 100% successful unless u're dating a granny :P
